About us

For over twenty-five years, SuperChamp has in its family business been producing supplements for mushroom cultivation that find their destination worldwide. The owner of SuperChamp is the Van Korlaar family. Founder Adelbert as a miller's son, knows the process of milling and mixing the bread flour that was sold by his parents. This flour was ground in the Sara Catharina windmill which, completely restored but no longer operational, is still on the premises of the company in Hoenzadriel.

Jeanne, the wife of Adelbert, originates from a real mushroom family and brought in the expertise of the mushroom cultivation. That expertise was further expanded when SuperChamp started off as a mushroom company. Because the Bommelerwaard developed into one of the two largest Dutch mushroom regions, there was a great demand for supplements from out of the region to accelerate and enhance the cultivation process. In order to meet this demand, SuperChamp started to focus on the production of supplements. The company created well balanced, sophisticated mixtures that give the mushroom cultivation process an extra boost. Since 1988, SuperChamp has been fully committing itself to the development and production of supplements.

SuperChamp now produces its supplements in a modern, fully automated production facility in which the process of receiving goods up to filling in packaging is fully integrated. In this way you are assured of a hygienic product. Since 2014, SuperChamp has been ISO 22000 certified and our company meets the most current demands on production, hygiene, safety and traceability.
